This week on the podcast we are continuing in our summer series: The 25 Biblical Laws of Success Book Club. As Christian women entrepreneurs, we navigate the complex world of business and wealth creation while staying true to our faith. One of the challenges we face is managing our attitudes towards wealth, especially when feelings of anger and resentment arise. The Bible addresses this issue, teaching us to maintain a healthy perspective on wealth and to avoid the sin of anger against it.
Understanding the Sin of Anger Against Wealth
Proverbs 28:22 warns, “A stingy man hastens after wealth and does not know that poverty will come upon him.” This verse highlights the destructive nature of an unhealthy pursuit and attitude towards wealth. Anger against wealth often stems from envy, frustration, or a sense of injustice, leading us away from contentment and gratitude.
Applying Biblical Principles to Overcome Anger Against Wealth
Contentment and Gratitude: 1 Timothy 6:6-8 reminds us, “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.” Embracing contentment and gratitude helps us focus on what truly matters and appreciate the blessings we have.
Generosity and Stewardship: Proverbs 11:25 states, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Generosity shifts our focus from what we lack to how we can bless others, fostering a positive attitude towards wealth.
Trust in God’s Provision: Matthew 6:31-33 encourages us, “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Trusting in God’s provision alleviates our fears and frustrations related to wealth.
Practical Tips for Managing Anger Against Wealth
Practice Mindfulness and Reflection: Regularly reflect on your attitudes towards wealth and identify any underlying feelings of anger or resentment. Mindfulness can help you address these emotions before they take root.
Engage in Acts of Generosity: Find opportunities to give back, whether through charitable donations, volunteering, or supporting fellow entrepreneurs. Generosity can transform your perspective on wealth.
Seek Community and Accountability: Surround yourself with a supportive community that encourages healthy attitudes towards wealth and provides accountability.
By embracing these biblical principles and practical steps, we can overcome the sin of anger against wealth and cultivate a healthy, faith-centered approach to our entrepreneurial journey.

This method is used on every client and several have reached the 7 figure revenues with it (some have plans to scale past this mark). We strive to help each client reach seven figures (if they desire that). Not everyone wants a business that large and not everyone even has a product that can scale to that. But everyone can use the method to grow their business with Biblical principles and help.
Our community consists of women of all different types of businesses at all stages. Our common bond is a desire to grow in our faith and in our business. These often overlap. If your faith is struggling, your confidence can too. If your business is struggling, your faith can become shaky.
We help with both.
